Join Brian McNaught’s online event

Join acclaimed author and gay activist Brian McNaught in conversation with theologian Jason Steidl Jack on queer Catholic history and history-making and McNaught’s recently released memoir, A Prince of Boy: How One Gay Catholic Helped Change the World (Wipf & Stock: 2025). DignityUSA is one of the sponsors of this event.

This online event will be held on Thursday, April 24th, at 7 p.m. Central. LGBTQ-RAN is proud to co-host this program with Dignity USA and the New Ways Ministry.

McNaught’s latest book recounts his life as a devoted altar boy and rising voice in the Catholic press who was later fired by the church for coming out as gay. That launched McNaught into a new career touching hearts, minds, and behaviors of multitudes of people by telling his story with lovingkindness through talks, books, DVDs, columns, radio and TV shows, and podcasts.
