Dining with Dignity - Racial Justice and Inclusive Ministry

Our next Dining with Dignity event will be an opportunity to focus on two key challenges that were focuses of the recent virtual conference. We will discuss how we might implement them in our Dignity/Chicago community. This event will be on Zoom from 5-6 pm on Wednesday, December 4th.

Topic number 1 is called "Bring the Justice Home" -A transfigured church will be one where all come together as equally loved member of God's creation. We recognize racial justice as a society wide responsibility and the work begins at home with each one of us.

Topic number 2 is called "Opening the doors to an inclusive ministry creates a transfigured church." A creative and expanded version of ministry is needed as we work toward a church rooted the radical hospitality of Jesus.
